We build PaysFair, an earning app that competes with every app on this page. Judge our bias accordingly, and check the numbers below against the sources at the bottom.
On our map, the apps closest to Cash Giraffe are JustPlay, Mistplay, Scrambly and Rewarded Play, plus Freecash and KashKick. All six run on Android, and all six name the company behind them.
We read every app's own pages on October 23, 2026, and we haven't used any of them ourselves. Where an app's pages disagree with each other, we print every number.
Why do people leave Cash Giraffe?
Its own pages name the reasons. It pays out in euros in every country. Its gems have no fixed rate. Its terms set one per reward, and it can change that rate at any time. Its pages also disagree on who needs a selfie before a payout.
Your account lives on one phone, and gems expire a year after they're credited. A help article says a technical issue blocked a number of accounts by mistake from July 13, 2026. When an account is suspended, PayPal can vanish from its rewards.
Its privacy policy says it gets the list of apps on your phone. That includes deleted ones, with their use history.
Google's suggestions for this search include "legit apps like cash giraffe" and "apps like cash giraffe for android".
Our Cash Giraffe review covers its rules in full.
What are the best apps like Cash Giraffe?
Six apps on our map that pay for games, then ours. Every fact is the app's own, read on October 23, 2026, unless a date says otherwise.
JustPlay
JustPlay pays coins for playing its own casual games, and JustPlay GmbH in Berlin runs it. South Korea's NCSoft has owned 70% of it since June 2026. You must be 18 or older.
There's "usually no minimum threshold" to redeem, its terms say. You can cash out to PayPal or take gift cards. Before your first cash-out, it scans your face. It keeps that face data for up to 4 months.
What it does better than Cash Giraffe: PayPal money "should be visible on your PayPal balance within just a moment", its help center says. Cash Giraffe's allows up to 5 business days.
Our review: JustPlay review
Mistplay
Mistplay pays for time spent playing mobile games you find through it, and Mistplay Inc. runs it. You must be 18 or older. Its Android app is for "gamers around the world", its help center says. Its iPhone app is for the US and Canada.
Rewards are gift cards from brands such as Amazon, Visa and PayPal. We didn't find a minimum on its own pages. Its terms cap what you can redeem at $550 a year. Gift cards now need an ID check with a selfie for every player. That's from a help article edited on October 22, 2026.
What it does better than Cash Giraffe: "Most rewards are processed within an hour", its gift cards page says. Its help center allows up to 48 hours. Cash Giraffe's help center allows up to 7 business days for gift cards.
Our review: Mistplay review
Scrambly
Scrambly pays for small milestones in games and apps, and Scrambly S.r.l. in Bologna, Italy runs it. It's only for the US, the UK and Canada. You must be 18 or older under its terms of October 21, 2026.
You can "Withdraw from just $1" to PayPal, Visa or gift cards, after an ID check. Its systems can hold an account or a balance automatically. Its iPhone app pays for walking.
What it does better than Cash Giraffe: its terms give you 30 days to challenge a ban or a forfeited balance. Cash Giraffe's terms let it exclude you "without stating the specific reason".
Our review: Scrambly review
Rewarded Play
Rewarded Play pays points for levels, play time and milestones in games. Influence Mobile, Inc. in Bellevue, Washington runs it. It's for people 16 or older in the US, the UK, Canada and Australia.
You redeem points for gift cards from over 40 brands and Visa prepaid cards. Most arrive within 1 to 2 business days, and your first one includes an identity check. Its iPhone app came out in July 2026.
What it does better than Cash Giraffe: it takes players from 16, where Cash Giraffe's terms require them to be over 18.
Not tested yet.
Freecash
Freecash pays for games, offers and surveys, and Almedia GmbH runs it, by its terms. It takes people 16 or older. Its PayPal cash-outs cover 124 countries.
Your first cash-out needs $5 to $20, depending on your region. You'll verify your ID with a selfie then. PayPal, Venmo, Visa and bank transfer cash-outs carry a 5% fee, and gift cards have none.
What it does better than Cash Giraffe: a published list of 124 PayPal countries. Cash Giraffe doesn't publish a country list.
Our review: Freecash review
KashKick
KashKick pays for games, surveys and deals, and Besitos Corporation, LLC runs it. It's for residents of the 50 US states and DC who are 18 or older.
You can Kash Out from $10 to PayPal, Venmo or gift cards, with "zero fees", it says. Before the first one, you'll need a selfie and a driver's license or passport.
What it does better than Cash Giraffe: a balance in dollars, at "$1 Kash = $1 USD". Cash Giraffe pays out in euros and sets its gem prices per reward.
Our review: KashKick review
PaysFair
PaysFair is ours. It pays for surveys, games and campaigns. In a campaign, you post clips and content on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and X. The smallest cash-out is $1.00, paid as a gift card by email. We check the first cash-out by hand.
It's for people 16 or older, and what there is to do depends on your country. It runs on the web and in an Android app on Google Play. Obsidian UG in Germany runs it.
What it does better than Cash Giraffe: it runs in a web browser as well as on Android. Cash Giraffe's pages point only to its Android and iPhone apps.
We build it, so we don't review it.
Which one has the smallest cash-out?
| App | Smallest cash-out | Paid as |
|---|---|---|
| Cash Giraffe | $0.20 | PayPal, gift card |
| JustPlay | Usually none | PayPal, gift card |
| Mistplay | Not published | Gift cards, PayPal |
| Scrambly | $1 | PayPal, Visa, gift card |
| Rewarded Play | Not published | Gift card, Visa prepaid |
| Freecash | $5 to $20 first | PayPal, bank, crypto, gift card |
| KashKick | $10 | PayPal, Venmo, gift card |
| PaysFair | $1.00 | Gift card by email |
Cash Giraffe's $0.20 is the lowest floor any of them publishes, apart from JustPlay's "usually no minimum". JustPlay may ask for three hours of play before you can redeem.
Is Cash Giraffe better than Freecash?
It depends on what you value. On their own pages, the two differ on almost every point:
| Point | Cash Giraffe | Freecash |
|---|---|---|
| Smallest cash-out | $0.20 to PayPal | $5 to $20 first |
| PayPal fee | None, by its terms | 5% |
| PayPal speed | A few hours to 5 business days | Mostly instant |
| Age | Over 18 | 16 or older |
| Countries | No list | PayPal in 124 |
| Selfie | Before payouts, by its terms | At the first cash-out |
Cash Giraffe pays out in euros. On Freecash, smaller PayPal cash-outs add a fixed fee on top of the 5%. That's $1 on the $5, $10 and $20 cash-outs, its help center says.
Which apps like Cash Giraffe work on iPhone?

What's the catch with apps like Cash Giraffe?
Game makers pay these apps to find players. Cash Giraffe's How It Works page says "game developers pay Cash Giraffe when players spend time in their games". It "shares a portion of that revenue with you", the page adds. "Game developers fund the rewards because they're paying to find players like you," Rewarded Play's app page says.
Most of them check your face. Cash Giraffe, JustPlay, Mistplay, Freecash and KashKick ask for a selfie. Scrambly's ID provider may use biometric facial matching. How long they keep it differs. Cash Giraffe says 4 weeks after the payout, and JustPlay says up to 4 months.
Your progress depends on your phone. Cash Giraffe and Rewarded Play stop tracking a game you uninstall. Scrambly's terms say a new device or a reinstall may stop tracking, too.
How we picked these apps
Our map of the market holds more than 1,100 earning apps, sorted into lanes by what they pay for. Cash Giraffe sits in the game-rewards lane. We took four big apps from that lane, JustPlay, Mistplay, Scrambly and Rewarded Play. We added Freecash and KashKick, which pay for game goals too.
We read their pages on October 23, 2026, from a server in the US.
