Free Roblox gift cards: how to earn one by answering surveys

Yes, you can get a Roblox gift card without paying. Answer surveys and small tasks in a rewards app, then swap the points for the card. On Swagbucks a $10 card costs 1,000 points, and Roblox says it gives up to 1,000 Robux. Each app has a minimum age.

What it costs is time. This page shows which apps list Roblox cards, what they charge, how many Robux a card becomes, and how to redeem it so you get the full amount.

Is a Robux gift card free?

It's free in money, not in time. You earn points by answering surveys, trying offers or playing games, then trade the points for a card.

The time is the catch. Swagbucks says not every survey you start pays, because many look for a certain kind of person. Some that do pay take up to 7 business days to show up. So points can take days to arrive, not minutes.

The other catch is age. Each app sets its own minimum, from 13 at Swagbucks to over 18 at Google Opinion Rewards.

What isn't free is a code someone posts online. On 26 September 2026, a list called "25+ Free Roblox Gift Card Codes (Unused List)" showed up among the top results for this search, posted on a movie database. It held no codes, only a short link to an outside site. That's the pattern our guide to free Robux scams takes apart.

Is there a free Robux gift card app?

Yes, several reward apps list Roblox cards. We build PaysFair, an earning app that competes with the apps below, so check their numbers yourself. PaysFair is for people 16 and over.

We read each app's own pages. The table shows what they said on the day:

A few details matter more than the table shows:

• Swagbucks prices Roblox cards at face value: 100 SB per dollar. PayPal cash costs 30 SB more on every amount, so a Roblox card is the cheaper way out. It encourages members under 18 to get a parent's or guardian's permission.
• Freecash pitches its Roblox page at game testing, "playing new games as a player-tester". It says availability depends on your region.
• PrizeRebel also charges 100 points per dollar: 1,000 points for the $10 Roblox card on its live listing. Its Roblox page promises the card both "instantly" and "within 24 hours".
• Microsoft Rewards users found its Roblox cards gone from the catalogue in April 2026, and the US catalogue listed them again on 26 September 2026. Our page on Microsoft Rewards and Robux has the details and the rules.
• Fetch still suggests using a card for Roblox Premium. Roblox stopped selling Premium on April 30, 2026.

Going by the age rules we could read, here's where you can start:

• Under 13: Swagbucks, Freecash and PrizeRebel all say no.
• 13 to 15: Swagbucks.
• 16 and 17: Swagbucks and Freecash, and PrizeRebel with a parent's permission.
• 18 and over: all three, plus Google Opinion Rewards, further down.

How much do Robux gift cards give?

Roblox says a $10 card gives up to 1,000 Robux, where it used to give 800. The extra 25% applies to cards and to Robux bought on a computer or the web. Roblox called it a durable change, not a holiday promotion, in November 2024.

That's why the Swagbucks price is easy to read: 1,000 SB buys a $10 card, which becomes up to 1,000 Robux.

We read Roblox's own Buy Robux page from a US connection on 26 September 2026. The same money buys this much:

So you'll get the most from a card when you redeem it the right way. Our page on what a Robux is worth has every package.

How do you redeem a Robux gift card?

In a web browser, not in the app. Roblox's own steps:

1. Go to roblox.com/redeem.
2. Log in to your Roblox account.
3. Type the code in the box.
4. Click Redeem. A message confirms it.

The card becomes Roblox Credit. On the same page, Get Robux picks the largest package your credit covers. If a small amount is left over, Convert Credit to Robux turns it into Robux too.

Three rules trip people up:

• The standard mobile app and consoles can't redeem cards. Only the Samsung Galaxy version of the app can.
• Credit only works in a web browser. You won't see it in the Roblox app.
• Credit can't be mixed with another payment. If it doesn't cover a purchase, you pay the whole thing another way.

One exception: Roblox says Amazon and Party Packs Roblox cards give Robux only, not credit. You can redeem as many cards as you like, one at a time.

Why is my Robux gift card not working?

Most often, it's a misread character. Roblox suggests checking look-alikes before anything else:

• 0 (zero) and the letter O
• 1 (one) and the capital letter I
• 2 and Z
• 5 and S
• 8 and B

Also check that you're in a web browser, not the phone app. If the code still fails, Roblox asks you to contact Roblox Support.

Can Roblox gift cards be redeemed in any country?

Yes. Roblox says all its codes can be redeemed worldwide. The value converts to your account's local currency when you redeem it. Freecash notes that which cards it can send depends on your region.

Can you buy Robux without a gift card?

Yes. You can buy Robux directly on Roblox, on the web or in the app, and a survey route exists too.

Google Opinion Rewards pays for surveys run by market researchers, in Google Play credit. Google Play counts a game's currency as an in-app purchase, and Roblox lists Google Play among the ways its mobile apps take payment. So on an Android phone, survey credit can buy Robux inside the Roblox app.

Three limits apply. Google says Opinion Rewards is for people over 18. Each credit expires one year after you earn it. And the app pays the price without the bonus: $9.99 buys 800 Robux there, against 1,000 on the web.
