How much is a Robux worth in dollars?

A Robux has two prices and a much lower cash-out value. Bought on the web it costs about 1 cent, and about 1.25 cents without the web bonus. A creator who cashes out earned Robux gets 0.38 cents each. So 1,000 Robux cost $9.99 and pay a creator $3.80.

Every Roblox number here comes from Roblox's own pages, read on 26 September 2026, with the prices read from a US connection. Several converters still use rates from 2024 or 2025.

What is 1 Robux worth in USD?

It depends on which way the money goes.

• Buying on the web or with a gift card: $9.99 gets 1,000 Robux, so each costs about 1 cent.
• Buying without the bonus: the same $9.99 gets 800 Robux, about 1.25 cents each.
• Cashing out as a creator: Roblox's Developer Exchange, called DevEx, pays $0.0038 per earned Robux.

The gap between the first two is Roblox's own doing. Since November 2024 it gives up to 25% more Robux for purchases on the web, on computers and with gift cards. Roblox staff called it "a durable change, not a holiday promotion", and said it didn't change DevEx rates.

Roblox sells Robux in its phone apps, in the browser, and in its PlayStation and Xbox apps. The bonus covers the web, computers and gift cards.

How much is 100 Robux, or 1,000?

Roblox sells Robux in packages, not one at a time. The table uses the $9.99 package as the rate, so treat each figure as a close guide:

The last column only applies to earned Robux. Bought Robux can't be cashed out.

How many Robux do you get for $10?

1,000 Robux on the web, or 800 without the bonus, for $9.99. A $10 Roblox gift card gives up to 1,000 Robux too, Roblox says, when you redeem it on a computer or the web.

So the web is the cheaper place to buy, at every size.

How much is 30,000 Robux worth?

To a creator, $114. That's the smallest amount DevEx will cash out: 30,000 earned Robux at $0.0038 each. You also need a verified email and to be 13 or older.

The rate has moved. Before September 5, 2025 it was $0.0035, so 30,000 paid $105. And a higher rate of $0.0054 applies to some earned Robux: only from eligible purchases by US players who verified they're 18 or older, in eligible games. At that rate, 30,000 would pay $162.

Bought instead of earned, 30,000 Robux would cost $299.70 at the $9.99 package rate. With the biggest web packages (24,000, 5,250 and 1,000 Robux) you'd get 30,250 for $259.97. Either way, a Robux is worth far less going out than coming in.

Can you turn Robux into real money?

Only earned Robux, and only through DevEx. Roblox's terms say Robux "have no equivalent value in real currency". They also say that using an outside service to sell or transfer Robux breaks the terms.

Is Robux worth buying?

That's your call, but buy it where it goes furthest. The web and gift cards give up to 25% more than the same money without the bonus.

There's also a way to get Robux without cash. On Swagbucks, 1,000 SB buys a $10 Roblox card, which becomes up to 1,000 Robux. So on Swagbucks one point is worth about one Robux. Swagbucks pays those points for surveys and polls, among other things.
