Yes, Microsoft Rewards still turns points into Robux in the US, but not always. The Roblox cards vanished in April 2026 and came back. On 26 September the catalogue listed 840 Robux for 13,400 points, and 1,050 Robux for 16,750.

We read Microsoft's catalogue from a US server that day, signed out, along with Microsoft's own help pages and terms. One rule first: Microsoft needs a parent's consent when anyone under 13 opens the Microsoft account the points live on.

Does Microsoft Rewards still have Robux?

In the US, it did when we checked. The same Roblox card page, read on two days:

DayCardPointsPoints per Robux
17 July 2026800 Robux13,00016.25
17 July 20261,000 Robux16,25016.25
26 September 2026840 Robux13,40015.95
26 September 20261,050 Robux16,75015.95

The cards grew 5% and their price rose about 3%, so a Robux got slightly cheaper in points. For scale, the same catalogue priced a $10 Amazon card at 13,000 points and a $10 Xbox card at 11,000.

Being listed isn't the same as being in stock. Microsoft's terms say rewards can be limited and go "first-come, first-served". Its help page says some gift cards "aren't always available", and that support can't say when a gift card will be restocked or removed.

What happened to Microsoft Rewards Robux?

It disappeared for a while. On 1 April 2026 a user asked on Microsoft's Q&A site why there was no Roblox card to redeem, and 200+ people marked the same question. On 22 April another wrote that the 400, 800 and 1,000 Robux cards were all gone, and 100+ more agreed.

We found no reason from Microsoft in public. The answer that user accepted came from an anonymous account. It called Robux "a limited catalog reward" that's routinely removed for stock and regional reasons and "usually comes back sooner or later".

That's what happened, at least in the US. An Internet Archive copy of the card page from 17 July already listed the 800 and 1,000 Robux cards again. By 26 September they were 840 and 1,050.

Several guides that rank for this still say the cards have been gone since 8 April 2026. The catalogue we read says otherwise.

How much Robux does Microsoft Rewards give?

840 Robux for 13,400 points, or 1,050 Robux for 16,750, on 26 September 2026. That's close to 16 points for every Robux.

In money terms, 840 Robux are worth about $8.40 at Roblox's web price, where $9.99 buys 1,000. So the points buy a little less than a $10 gift card's worth of Robux.

The card's own terms add three rules. The code only works at roblox.com, it can't be split, and only one virtual item is made available per account per month.

Some guides send you to an Xbox gift card instead. A $10 Xbox card costs 11,000 points, and Roblox sells Robux inside its Xbox app. We didn't check the app's Robux prices. Roblox's bonus of up to 25% applies on the web, on computers and with gift cards.

How do you redeem Microsoft Rewards Robux?

  1. Open the Rewards page, choose Redeem, and pick the Roblox Digital Card if it's listed.
  2. Verify with a mobile or landline number. Microsoft doesn't accept VoIP numbers, and after too many wrong codes you wait 48 hours.
  3. Look for the email. Microsoft sends rewards to your Microsoft account's email address, and Order history shows each order's status.
  4. Enter the code at roblox.com/redeem in a web browser.

Microsoft lists what blocks or cancels a redemption:

  • redeeming outside the region you signed up in, or while travelling
  • a VPN or proxy
  • a VoIP phone number
  • a reward that's out of stock
  • more than six Rewards accounts on one household or phone number

How long does Microsoft Rewards Robux take?

Microsoft's help pages we read give no delivery time. A Microsoft moderator wrote in July that if the card is available and the redemption goes through, "you should receive a digital Roblox code". Check your junk folder and Order history before you ask support.

If an order doesn't arrive, Microsoft's order page offers a Resend button for the confirmation email. Its support form is the next step.

Can you get free Robux from Microsoft Rewards?

Free of money, yes, and Microsoft says so itself. You earn points for searching, shopping, gaming and Rewards offers, then swap them for a Roblox card. It costs time, and the rules are strict:

  • Only searches typed by a person, for real, count. Bots and macros can cost you the account.
  • Points expire if you don't earn or redeem anything for 12 months.
  • One Rewards account per person, however many email addresses you have.

Microsoft also runs a Roblox quest. It unlocks Soundwave Headphones for your Roblox avatar, not Robux, and it's for "select Microsoft Rewards users" while supplies last. The catalogue also lists a free Roblox Digital Card of 100 Robux, at 0 points. It was marked not open to us signed out, and its page doesn't say how to qualify.

Microsoft Rewards isn't the only route that costs time instead of cash. Some survey apps swap points for Roblox gift cards. We build PaysFair, an earning app that competes with the apps below, so check their numbers yourself. PaysFair is for people 16 and over.

  • Swagbucks listed a $10 Roblox card at 1,000 SB on 22 September 2026. Its minimum age is 13, and it encourages minors to get a parent's permission.
  • PrizeRebel priced the same card at 1,000 points on 26 September 2026. It takes members from 18, or 16 with a parent's permission.

Our guide to free Roblox gift cards from surveys compares them.

Is Microsoft Rewards Robux legit?

Yes. Microsoft runs the program, and the card's code works at roblox.com like any Roblox gift card.

The scams are the lookalikes. Search for this and Google suggests "free Microsoft Rewards Robux codes". Roblox's own help page is clear: "Any offer of free Robux, subscriptions, or valuable items is a scam." Our page on free Robux scams shows how they work.

Don't try to beat the region rules either. Microsoft's terms say a VPN can get your Rewards account cancelled and its points forfeited.

Is Microsoft Rewards Robux available in India?

Microsoft Rewards runs in India, and in a long list of other countries, the Philippines, Nigeria and Pakistan among them. But catalogues differ by region, and we only read the US one.

People elsewhere report both. On Microsoft's Q&A site, commenters in Vietnam, Serbia and the UAE wrote that the card was missing or always out of stock. Another user wrote in July that the 800 and 1,000 Robux cards showed in their country.

Check your own Rewards page, in your own country, before you save for a card. Microsoft says points must be redeemed in the region you signed up in.

What happened to Microsoft Rewards Robux?
