AppNana alternatives: 6 apps like AppNana, compared on what they pay

We build PaysFair, an earning app that competes with every app on this page. Judge our bias accordingly, and check the numbers below against the sources at the bottom.

On our map, the apps closest to AppNana are Swagbucks and Freecash, which pay for offers and tasks, Mistplay and Cash Giraffe, which pay for playing mobile games, and AttaPoll, which takes members from 13.

We read every app's own pages on October 23, 2026, and we haven't used any of them ourselves. Where an app's pages disagree with each other, we print both.

Why do people leave AppNana?

Its apps haven't changed in a long time. Google Play showed its last update on July 15, 2024, and Apple's App Store showed version 4.1.0 of October 20, 2023. Google's suggestions include "does appnana work" and "was appnana legit".

Its store text says you earn Nanas for "Nana Offers", invites and 400 daily points, and redeem them for gift cards from Amazon, Xbox, PlayStation and others. Its public pages don't say how many Nanas a gift card costs. A code takes "up to 48 hours" to reach your inbox.

Mapiz, Inc. publishes it, under terms governed by California law, with arbitration in San Francisco. You must be 14, or 18 where that applies. Gift cards and codes "are not redeemable for cash". Mapiz can end an account if it believes, in good faith, that you broke the terms.

On Google Play, AppNana had 3.3 stars from 412K reviews and 10M+ installs, with a "Contains ads" label. On the App Store, it had 3.1 stars from 15 ratings. Google also suggests "appnana codes"; we print no invitation codes on this page.

Swagbucks

Swagbucks pays SB points for offers, surveys, shopping, receipts, games and searches, and Prodege runs it. It takes members from 13, and says it's live in most countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia.

When we priced its US catalog on September 22, 2026, a $5 gift card cost 500 SB and $5 through PayPal cost 530 SB. PayPal cash takes 2 to 5 business days.

What it does better than AppNana: an app that's kept up. Its iPhone app was updated on October 23, 2026, with 4.4 stars from 147,776 ratings.

Freecash

Freecash pays for games, offers and surveys, and Almedia GmbH in Berlin runs it, by its terms. It takes members from 16. Its own list of PayPal countries has 124.

Your first cash-out needs $5 to $20, depending on your region, and an ID check with a selfie. PayPal, Venmo, Visa and bank transfers carry a 5% fee, plus $1 on small PayPal cash-outs, and gift cards don't carry one.

What it does better than AppNana: cash. It pays to PayPal, Venmo and bank accounts, where AppNana's store text lists only gift cards.

Mistplay

Mistplay pays for time spent playing mobile games you find through it, and Mistplay Inc. runs it. You must be 18 or older. Its Android app is for "gamers around the world", and its iPhone app is for the US and Canada.

Rewards are gift cards from brands such as Amazon, Visa and PayPal. Its terms cap rewards at $550 a year. Gift cards need an ID check with a selfie, for every player.

What it does better than AppNana: speed. "Most rewards are processed within an hour," its gift cards page says, where AppNana takes up to 48 hours.

Cash Giraffe

Cash Giraffe pays gems for play time, game milestones and surveys, and justDice GmbH runs it, by its terms. You must be over 18.

You can cash out "from as little as $0.20 to PayPal", or take gift cards from brands such as Amazon and Starbucks. Its help center says PayPal can take up to 5 business days and gift cards up to 7. Before any payout, you'll take a selfie, which it deletes 4 weeks after the payout.

What it does better than AppNana: a stated floor, $0.20 to PayPal. AppNana's public pages don't give one.

AttaPoll

AttaPoll pays for surveys, games and other tasks, and AttaPoll Ltd in London runs it. You can join at 13, with a parent's consent if you're under 18.

Its App Store listing says cash-outs start at $3, to PayPal, a bank, Revolut or gift cards. Its terms, in an archive copy of August 29, 2026, say the threshold varies by country and payment method. Six months without a completed activity forfeits your balance.

What it does better than AppNana: it takes members from 13 with a parent's consent, where AppNana asks for 14.

PaysFair

PaysFair is ours. It pays for surveys, games and campaigns. In a campaign, you post clips and content on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and X. The smallest cash-out is $1.00, paid as a gift card by email. We check the first cash-out by hand.

It's for people 16 or older, and what there is to do depends on your country. It runs on the web and in an Android app on Google Play. Obsidian UG in Germany runs it.

What it does better than AppNana: campaigns. You can get paid for posting clips, which AppNana's pages don't offer.

We build it, so we don't review it.

Which one has the smallest cash-out?

AppNana sends codes within 48 hours, by its store text. Mistplay says most rewards take under an hour.

Does AppNana still work?

Its Google Play and App Store listings were both up on October 23, 2026. Google Play listed its last update as July 15, 2024, and Apple listed version 4.1.0 of October 20, 2023.

We didn't install it, so we can't say whether its offers still load or how fast codes arrive today. Of the apps above, Swagbucks' iPhone app was updated on October 23, 2026, the day we read it.

How we picked these apps

Our map of the market holds more than 1,100 earning apps, sorted into lanes by what they pay for. AppNana sits in the offer-sites lane. We took Swagbucks and Freecash from that lane, Mistplay and Cash Giraffe from the game-rewards lane, since pages that rank for AppNana list game apps, and AttaPoll for younger members.

We read the apps' sites on October 23, 2026, from a server in the US, and the app stores directly. AttaPoll's terms came from an Internet Archive copy of August 29, 2026.
