We build PaysFair, an earning app that competes with every app on this page. Judge our bias accordingly, and check the numbers below against the sources at the bottom.

On our map, the apps closest to Zogo are Microsoft Rewards, which pays for quizzes and searches, and Swagbucks, AttaPoll, Qmee and Freecash, which pay cash for surveys, games and other tasks.

We read Zogo's own pages and store listings on October 24, 2026, and most of the other apps' pages a day earlier. We haven't used any of them ourselves.

Why do people leave Zogo?

Its gift cards are limited. Zogo's help center says they "restock every day at 12:00 AM Eastern Time but are in limited supply." A Google Play review of May 1, 2026, marked helpful by 28 people, says the Marketplace offered nothing to redeem for over two weeks.

Redeeming takes an ID check through a third-party service. Without it, you can still learn and earn Pineapples, its help center says, "but you will not be able to redeem rewards."

Zogo accepts only a US passport, a US driver's license or a US non-driver ID card. If you're under 16, or a minor without a US ID, a parent or guardian verifies with their own ID. Its privacy policy says the verification service keeps ID data for 3 years.

Signing up with a phone number takes a verified US number. Numbers from "VOIP services like Skype or Google Voice cannot be accepted," the help center adds.

The wait can run to two days. A redemption email "can take up to 48 hours to arrive," and a redemption flagged as suspicious can take up to 48 hours to review.

For many users, a bank or credit union backs the rewards, and your account may be sponsored by one in your area. Zogo says "a sponsor may contact you with offers for their services." Zogo's website pitches its app to banks, credit unions and fintechs, and the users they sponsor learn for free.

Its terms let Zogo suspend or end an account "for any reason whatsoever," without notice, and cap its liability at $5.00. Zogo, Inc., a Delaware corporation, runs it.

What are the best apps like Zogo?

Five apps on our map, then ours. Every fact is the app's own, read on October 23, 2026, unless a date says otherwise.

Microsoft Rewards

Microsoft Rewards pays points for Bing searches, quizzes, daily activities, Xbox and Microsoft Store purchases, and Microsoft runs it. You redeem the points for gift cards and donations, never cash.

Microsoft doesn't state a minimum age for Rewards. If you're under 13, a parent consents when the Microsoft account is created, its support page said on October 24, 2026. Its list of regions has 235 countries and territories, Nigeria among them.

Its US catalog listed a $1.25 Microsoft gift card for 1,625 points. An Amazon.com card cost 1,300 points to the dollar.

What it does better than Zogo: it runs in 235 countries and territories. Zogo's ID check takes US documents only.

Swagbucks

Swagbucks pays SB points for surveys, offers, shopping, receipts, games and searches, and Prodege runs it. It takes members from 13, and says it's live in most countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia.

When we priced its US catalog on September 22, 2026, a $5 gift card cost 500 SB and $5 through PayPal cost 530 SB. PayPal cash takes 2 to 5 business days.

What it does better than Zogo: more ways to earn, from the same age. Both start at 13, and Swagbucks also pays for surveys, receipts and shopping.

Our review: Swagbucks review

AttaPoll

AttaPoll pays for surveys, games and other tasks, and AttaPoll Ltd in London runs it. You can join at 13, with a parent's consent if you're under 18.

Its App Store listing says cash-outs start at $3, to PayPal, a bank, Revolut or gift cards. Its terms, in an archive copy of August 29, 2026, say the threshold varies by country and payment method. Six months without a completed activity forfeits your balance.

What it does better than Zogo: a stated floor of $3, with PayPal and bank transfers. Zogo's pages don't state a minimum, and its help pages talk about gift cards.

Our review: AttaPoll review

Qmee

Qmee pays for surveys, cashback offers and gaming offers, and Kantar UK Ltd runs it, by its terms. It's for people 16 or older in the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, France and Germany.

Its FAQ says there's "no minimum withdrawal amount" for PayPal or Venmo, and the money arrives "within a few minutes". Before your first gift card, it checks who you are, for example through a PayPal cash-out of any amount.

What it does better than Zogo: speed. Zogo's redemption email can take up to 48 hours.

Our review: Qmee review

Freecash

Freecash pays for games, offers and surveys, and Almedia GmbH in Berlin runs it, by its terms. It takes members from 16. Its own list of PayPal countries has 124, Nigeria, India and the Philippines among them.

Your first cash-out needs $5 to $20, depending on your region, and an ID check with a selfie. PayPal, Venmo, Visa and bank transfers carry a 5% fee, plus $1 on small PayPal cash-outs, and gift cards don't carry one.

What it does better than Zogo: cash in Nigeria. Google suggests "is zogo available in nigeria", and Zogo's ID check takes US documents only.

Our review: Freecash review

PaysFair

PaysFair is ours. It pays for surveys, games and campaigns. In a campaign, you post clips and content on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and X. The smallest cash-out is $1.00, paid as a gift card by email. We check the first cash-out by hand.

It's for people 16 or older, and what there is to do depends on your country. It runs on the web and in an Android app on Google Play. Obsidian UG in Germany runs it.

What it does better than Zogo: campaigns. You can get paid for posting clips, which Zogo's pages don't offer.

We build it, so we don't review it.

How we picked these apps

Our map of the market holds more than 1,100 earning apps, sorted into lanes by what they pay for. Zogo sits in the offer-sites lane. We took Swagbucks and Freecash from that lane, and Microsoft Rewards from the search-rewards lane, since it pays for quizzes. Qmee and AttaPoll are survey apps, picked for fast PayPal and for members from 13.

We read the apps' sites from a server in the US: Zogo's on October 24, 2026, and most of the others' on October 23, 2026. Google Play came from that server too, and Apple's store was read directly. AttaPoll's terms came from an Internet Archive copy of August 29, 2026.
