We build PaysFair, an earning app that competes with every app on this page. Judge our bias accordingly, and check the numbers below against the sources at the bottom.

On our map, the survey apps closest to Google Opinion Rewards are Curious Cat, Qmee, Survey Junkie, AttaPoll, HeyPiggy and LifePoints. All six pay cash to PayPal, on Android too.

We read every app's own pages on October 23, 2026, and we haven't used any of them ourselves. Where an app's pages disagree with each other, we print both.

Why do people leave Google Opinion Rewards?

On Android it pays Google Play credit, "to use in the Google Play store". Each credit expires a year after you earn it. Cash comes only on iPhone: PayPal, each time your balance reaches $2.00. Google's suggestions include "can i transfer google opinion rewards to bank account" and "can i transfer google opinion rewards to paypal".

Surveys come when Google has them. "We don't always have surveys to send you," its help page says, and surveys "depend on our available inventory". You can't ask for more. If Google decides you're not answering truthfully, "you will receive fewer surveys". A survey usually expires in 24 hours.

Some questions pay nothing. Setup questions, and surveys that check whether you fit a panel, earn no reward. On iPhone, a balance under $2.00 expires a year after your last survey.

The iPhone app works in five countries and the Android app in 39. You must be over 18.

Google closed Google Surveys, a tool businesses used to run their own market research, on November 1, 2022. It says the Opinion Rewards app isn't going away. Our Google Opinion Rewards review covers the rest.

What are the best apps like Google Opinion Rewards?

Six survey apps from its lane on our map, then ours. Every fact is the app's own, read on October 23, 2026, unless a date says otherwise.

Curious Cat

Curious Cat pays points for surveys, polls and tasks, and On Device Research Ltd in the UK runs it. You must be 18 or older. It's open in 16 countries, among them Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Brazil and Mexico.

You can cash out from 100 points, which is £1 or roughly $1.30, to PayPal in every region. Thailand adds TrueMoney, and Indonesia and Thailand add OVO, ShopeePay or DANA. A screen-out earns nothing, and 90 days without a survey can void your points.

Its help pages describe a "system rating" built from partner and fraud checks. A low one can delay your cash-out or lock the account, and support "are unable to override" it.

What it does better than Google Opinion Rewards: cash on Android. From £1, it pays to PayPal in all its countries and to local wallets in Thailand and Indonesia. Google's Android app pays Play credit.

Qmee

Qmee pays for surveys, cashback offers and gaming offers, and Kantar UK Ltd runs it, by its terms. It's for people 16 or older in the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, France and Germany.

Its FAQ says there's "no minimum withdrawal amount" for PayPal or Venmo, and the money arrives "within a few minutes". Before your first gift card, it checks who you are, for example through a PayPal cash-out of any amount. A balance on an account unused for a year stays with Qmee.

What it does better than Google Opinion Rewards: no minimum. On iPhone, Google waits until you have $2.00 before it pays.

Survey Junkie

Survey Junkie pays for surveys, and DISQO owns it. It's for people 18 or older in the US, Canada, Australia or the UK.

You can cash out from $5, or 500 points, to PayPal, a bank account or gift cards. Its identity checks "can include text, email or phone call confirmation", a cross-check with reward partners, or "photo ID verification".

What it does better than Google Opinion Rewards: a few points "Even if you do not qualify for a survey", its FAQ says. Google pays nothing for setup questions or for surveys that check whether you fit a panel.

AttaPoll

AttaPoll pays for surveys, games and other tasks, and AttaPoll Ltd in London runs it. You can join at 13, with a parent's consent if you're under 18.

Its App Store listing says cash-outs start at $3, to PayPal, a bank, Revolut or gift cards. Its terms, in an archive copy of August 29, 2026, say the threshold varies by country and payment method. Six months without a completed activity forfeits your balance.

What it does better than Google Opinion Rewards: it takes members from 13, where Google asks for over 18.

HeyPiggy

HeyPiggy pays for surveys, and Make Opinion GmbH in Berlin runs it, by its imprint. Its terms take members from 14 with a guardian's consent, and one account per person.

Its home page says "Payout from five dollar" and lists rewards "starting from 1USD". Its terms aim to pay "in real time / instantly" but allow up to 60 days. Points expire 12 months after you earn them.

What it does better than Google Opinion Rewards: reach. Its FAQ says it offers PayPal payouts "in nearly every country", where Google's Android app lists 39.

LifePoints

LifePoints pays points for surveys, and Lightspeed LLC in New York, a Kantar group company, runs it. You must be 14 or older, and you can join only in the country where you live. It has members from over 40 countries, its home page says.

You can redeem once you have enough points for its lowest-priced reward, as gift cards or PayPal cash. Donations start at $1. A survey every 90 days keeps the account from being suspended.

What it does better than Google Opinion Rewards: a second review. If your account is suspended or closed, you can ask for one, and it answers within 30 days. Google's help says it sends fewer surveys to people it judges untruthful, and it names no review.

PaysFair

PaysFair is ours. It pays for surveys, games and campaigns. In a campaign, you post clips and content on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and X. The smallest cash-out is $1.00, paid as a gift card by email. We check the first cash-out by hand.

It's for people 16 or older, and what there is to do depends on your country. It runs on the web and in an Android app on Google Play. Obsidian UG in Germany runs it.

What it does better than Google Opinion Rewards: campaigns. You can get paid for posting clips, which Google's app doesn't offer.

We build it, so we don't review it.

How we picked these apps

Our map of the market holds more than 1,100 earning apps, sorted into lanes by what they pay for. Google Opinion Rewards sits in the survey-apps lane. We took six apps from that lane that pay mainly for surveys and pay cash to PayPal. Meta Viewpoints, Meta's own research app, sits in the same lane. We couldn't read its terms on October 23, 2026, so it isn't here.

We read the apps' sites on October 23, 2026, from a server in the US. We read Google's help pages and the app stores directly. AttaPoll's terms came from an Internet Archive copy of August 29, 2026.
