We build PaysFair, an earning app that competes with every app on this page. Judge our bias accordingly, and check the numbers below against the sources at the bottom.

On our map, the survey apps closest to Toluna are Qmee, Survey Junkie, AttaPoll, HeyPiggy and LifePoints. Each states a payout floor or a payout time on its own pages.

We read every app's own pages on October 23, 2026, and we haven't used any of them ourselves. Where an app's pages disagree with each other, we print both.

Why do people leave Toluna?

It's slow to pay. Its FAQ says to "allow up to 3 weeks for delivery" of a reward. Points for some surveys come only after the survey closes, and you "can expect to wait a maximum of six weeks" from then. Google suggests "how long does toluna take to pay".

Its public pages don't say what a point is worth, or how many points a reward costs. A survey pays "between 15 and 50,000 points", depending on its length. If you don't qualify, you get nothing: "you will not receive points when you have not completed the survey."

Points expire 12 months after you earn them. If your account goes 12 months without a survey or other activity, all your points go, and its terms say Toluna "will not provide you with any notice".

The rules on where you take surveys are strict. Its terms say taking surveys outside your country of registration "can be seen as fraudulent", and "This also applies if you go on holidays." VPNs, proxies and Tor are out, and so are shared Wi-Fi networks, which can look like extra accounts.

On Trustpilot, Toluna had a TrustScore of 4.2 from 258,863 reviews on October 23, 2026, with 7% at one star. A one-star review from that day complained about delays in redemptions.

What are the best survey apps like Toluna?

Five survey apps on our map, then ours. Every fact is the app's own, read on October 23, 2026, unless a date says otherwise.

Qmee

Qmee pays for surveys, cashback offers and gaming offers, and Kantar UK Ltd runs it, by its terms. It's for people 16 or older in the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, France and Germany.

Its FAQ says there's "no minimum withdrawal amount" for PayPal or Venmo, and the money arrives "within a few minutes". Before your first gift card, it checks who you are, for example through a PayPal cash-out of any amount.

What it does better than Toluna: speed. Minutes to PayPal, where Toluna allows up to 3 weeks.

Our review: Qmee review

Survey Junkie

Survey Junkie pays for surveys, and DISQO owns it. It's for people 18 or older in the US, Canada, Australia or the UK.

You can cash out from $5, or 500 points, to PayPal, a bank account or gift cards. Its identity checks "can include text, email or phone call confirmation", a cross-check with reward partners, or "photo ID verification".

What it does better than Toluna: a few points "Even if you do not qualify for a survey", its FAQ says. Toluna pays nothing when you don't qualify.

Our review: Survey Junkie review

AttaPoll

AttaPoll pays for surveys, games and other tasks, and AttaPoll Ltd in London runs it. You can join at 13, with a parent's consent if you're under 18.

Its App Store listing says cash-outs start at $3, to PayPal, a bank, Revolut or gift cards. Its terms, in an archive copy of August 29, 2026, say the threshold varies by country and payment method. Six months without a completed activity forfeits your balance.

What it does better than Toluna: a stated starting point for cash-outs, $3. Toluna's public pages don't give one.

Our review: AttaPoll review

HeyPiggy

HeyPiggy pays for surveys, and Make Opinion GmbH in Berlin runs it, by its imprint. Its terms take members from 14 with a guardian's consent, and one account per person.

Its home page says "Payout from five dollar" and lists rewards "starting from 1USD". Its terms aim to pay "in real time / instantly" but allow up to 60 days. Points expire 12 months after you earn them, as on Toluna.

What it does better than Toluna: PayPal "in nearly every country", its FAQ says. Toluna's rewards depend on your country.

LifePoints

LifePoints pays points for surveys, and Lightspeed LLC in New York, a Kantar group company, runs it. You must be 14 or older, and you can join only in the country where you live. It has members from over 40 countries, its home page says.

You can redeem once you have enough points for its lowest-priced reward, as gift cards or PayPal cash. Donations start at $1. A survey every 90 days keeps the account from being suspended.

What it does better than Toluna: it takes members from 14, where Toluna asks for 16.

PaysFair

PaysFair is ours. It pays for surveys, games and campaigns. In a campaign, you post clips and content on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and X. The smallest cash-out is $1.00, paid as a gift card by email. We check the first cash-out by hand.

It's for people 16 or older, and what there is to do depends on your country. It runs on the web and in an Android app on Google Play. Obsidian UG in Germany runs it.

What it does better than Toluna: campaigns. You can get paid for posting clips, which Toluna's pages don't offer.

We build it, so we don't review it.

How we picked these apps

Our map of the market holds more than 1,100 earning apps, sorted into lanes by what they pay for. Toluna sits in the survey-apps lane. We took five apps from that lane that state a payout floor or a payout time on their own pages: Qmee, Survey Junkie, AttaPoll, HeyPiggy and LifePoints.

We read the apps' sites on October 23, 2026, from a server in the US, and the app stores directly. AttaPoll's terms came from an Internet Archive copy of August 29, 2026. We read Trustpilot's page twice that day, through a web page reader.
